In the Red and Brown

Ever feel like you're just running in circles? For a young woman named Oya, her life is all about that. She is a talented track star chasing scholarship opportunities. However, her mother falls ill which pulls Oya's whole life into perspective. In the Red and Brown Water is the first play in the Brother/Sister triptych written by Tarell Alvin McCraney.

I worked as Christian DeAngelis's assistant lighting designer. Mainly as a paperwork monkey, but hey, gotta start somewhere. The show would not have been the same without my organization.
